Living in a fishing community it is difficult to avoid blocks of vibrant colour. To an extent it dictates how I see things when I'm exploring Brixham and Paignton Harbours – particularly the deceptively simple graphic designs that adorn the day boats and trawlers.

As a result, I've found myself naturally drawn to “shape, form and colour”.

The enjoyment I get just from observing the effects of the low light of the sun on the pastel cottages and the reflections from the boats are an end in itself.
